FalCat 2026: Soar into AWS at Adamson University
Celebrating the official launch of the AWS Student Builder Group – Adamson University at Adamson, Manila, and one question from the day that stuck with me: do you need to be ready, or just willing to start?
AWS SkillBuilder Co-Lead at AWS Student Builder Group - Spade

I was happy to join FalCat 2026: Soar into AWS, and without planning it, my fellow delegates and I ended up being some of the early birds of the event.
It was a great afternoon. We were there to celebrate one thing: the official launch of the AWS Student Builder Group – Adamson University.
The Afternoon
The program was packed. There were fun icebreakers, games, and interactive sessions that tested what we knew about the cloud. And honestly, I did not expect the free food that was set aside for us. That was a nice surprise.
Beyond the activities, the best part for me was the people. I got to make new friends with the event organizers. Those short conversations in between sessions are what make community events worth attending.
Thank You to the Speakers
I want to thank the guest speakers who shared what they know in their own fields. Hearing about your career journeys and your practical tips for getting through the tech industry was truly inspiring.

What I Took Home
I left the event happy and with something meaningful. Not just because we celebrated a launch, but because I learned more about myself and where I fit in the tech space.
Thank you to everyone who joined. I also want to recognize the work of Mr. Kelvin Ignacio and Ms. Darla Nova S. for hosting this event.
On behalf of the AWS Student Builder Group – Spade, we are so happy to have witnessed your successful launch. And to my fellow Spade delegates, thank you for showing up. See you at the next one!
A Question to Think About
One moment from the day really stuck with me. It came from Ms. Gaile's presentation, and I want to leave it here for you.
For anyone going through their own tech journey, building a project, or stepping out of their comfort zone:
Something to think about
Which matters most? Being ready, or being willing to start?
Keep building, keep learning. See you on the cloud.
